Prashraya Welfare Foundation (Team Aashraya) with Zila Panchayat Narsinghpur is working to establish free libraries in every Gram Panchayat in Narsinghpur district (around 450 GPs), Madhya Pradesh.
In Phase one, we are aiming at around 41 libraries to be completed in October 2022.
While the administration officers will look after the infrastructure work, Aashraya members will ensure the book collection part for the library and will help in setting up the libraries.
These libraries then will be made available to everyone, free of cost, to bridge the shortage of books for the learning ages.
Pustak Daan-
We can build as many walls and roofs as possible, but they won’t be of any good use as long as they’re empty. So, for our libraries, we’ve started a Book Donation Drive called “Pustak Daan”, especially for Madhya Pradesh to collect all kinds of books from fiction to textbooks to reference books and whatnot. We request everyone to be a part and donate as many books as possible. This is the best gift you can give to someone.
